e: mattison.dabovich@gmail.com
Bio:
Recently named Head Volleyball Coach at Fossil Ridge High School, Matti brings over five years of coaching experience spanning the high school, club, and collegiate levels. A former collegiate player at Hastings College, Matti was a key contributor to the 2016 NAIA National Championship team, helped capture back-to-back conference titles, and competed in four national tournaments — experiences that shaped a deep understanding of what it takes to build and sustain a winning program.
Matti's coaching journey includes serving as an Assistant Coach at Texas Woman's University (NCAA DII), where the program developed one of the top nationally ranked defensive units in the country. That collegiate experience built a strong foundation in player development, system design, and competing at the highest levels of the game.
At the high school level, Matti previously served as JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant at Liberty Christian High School — a longstanding state championship program — where the JV squad earned a District Championship under Matti's leadership. On the club side, Matti currently coaches at Dallas Skyline Juniors, working with athletes ages 12–18 and assisting top national-level teams, helping young players sharpen their skills, compete at elite tournaments, and prepare for the next level.
With a championship pedigree as both a player and coach, and experience across every major level of the sport, Matti brings a rare combination of competitive drive, technical knowledge, and player development expertise to Colorado Skyline.
